If your Eve Aqua (2020) is connected to an Eve Extend, it will not be able to use Thread/Mesh even after a firmware update and a HomePod mini in your home.
Please do the following:
- While close with the iPhone to Eve Extend, open the Eve app and goto Eve Extend.
- Below the list of connected Eve devices, tap on the small gear. In the next window, tap on the right arrow to the Eve Aqua.
- Tap Unassign from Eve Extend.
- The process will begin. At the end, you will be asked to enter or scan the HomeKit code of the Eve accessory. Do this.
- Eve accessory is then unassigned from Eve Extend but continues to be associated with the room with all settings.
